“Called to be a mother, entrusted with the holy task of cooperating with God in shaping the destinies of [four] people, she knew it was too heavy a burden to carry alone. She did not try. She went to Him whose name is Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father. She asked His help.” ~ Elisabeth Elliot, describing her mother's faith

Kitchen Antics
The Stobie kitchen has been bustling for a couple months now and is slowly, returning to normal. The garden has been mostly harvested, jars filled and stacked neatly in our basement - only a few more tomatoes left ripening in boxes, a suburban-load of apples to be dehydrated, sauced or saved for pies, and I think just maybe we might get back to normal. I have compiled all my resources in a list, so stay tuned to learn how our kitchen operates. Until then, I thought you might want a glimpse into our daily life - chalked full of messes, dancing, messes and more dancing. Having "helpers" definitely makes things more fun (and slightly more challenging.)
